With Teleon, you can receive real-time alerts on important messages and updates via mobile SMS.
Note: The SMS notification will alert users that they have a new message in Teleon; the notification will not contain the message content to ensure HIPAA compliance.
Web/Desktop App:
1. In the top navigation menu, select the Settings option.
2. Click the Notifications tab from the left-hand menu.
3. Click the Edit button in the Mobile SMS Notification section.
4. Select the message types (Direct, Group, Urgent) for which you wish to receive notifications using the checkboxes.
5. Click the Save button at the bottom of the page.
Note: If your Teleon Administrator in your organization has not added your mobile phone number in your profile, you can do so by following the instructions below.
Web/Desktop App:
1. In the top navigation menu, select the Settings option.
2. Click the My Profiles tab from the left-hand menu.
3. Click the Edit Profile button
4. Enter information in the Mobile Phone field and click the Save button.
Mobile App:
1. In the bottom navigation tab bar, select the Settings option.
2. Tap the My Profile option from the screen.
3. Tap the Edit button at the top right of the screen.
4. In the Preferred Phone field, enter your mobile phone number.
5. Tap the Save button at the top right of the screen.
You should now be able to receive SMS notifications on your mobile phone when there is a new message in your Teleon account.
